Guoxuan Hi-Tech, a leading Chinese energy storage firm, has entered into a strategic partnership with Japan's Edison Power to penetrate the Japanese market. The collaboration aims to achieve an initial sales target of 1 GWh in the first year, with subsequent annual targets increasing to 2 GWh.
Under the terms of the agreement, Guoxuan Hi-Tech will supply batteries, modules, and battery management systems, while Edison Energy will oversee Japanese energy storage customer management, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services, as well as energy storage system operations and maintenance.
